The Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area (NPRSA) is a special tax district for the development, construction, and maintenance of parks facilities in Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville, and King and Snohomish Counties.

Notice of Public Hearings 

The Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area (NPRSA) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 5:00 PM in Room 107/108 of Bothell City Hall, located at 18415 101st Ave NE in Bothell, Washington. 

The purpose of the public hearings is to consider setting the King County and Snohomish County Property Tax Levies for 2026 and to consider adoption of the final 2026 Annual Budget. 

The Agenda Bills for these hearings and the preliminary budget will be made available on the NPRSA website, nprsawa.org, when the meeting packet is posted, no later than November 12, 2025. 

The public is invited to comment at the public hearings or to submit written comments or questions to nprsa@bothellwa.gov, no later than 3:00 PM on November 19th.  A link will be available on the website for those wishing to attend the meeting virtually.

The NPRSA owns and maintains two facilities to serve older adults: the Northshore Senior Center and the Health & Wellness and Adult Day Health Center. Programming at both facilities is provided by the Northshore Senior Center.

2025 Levy Renewal

The NPRSA is asking voters to consider renewing its six-year levy to make capital repairs at the Northshore Senior Center building and the Health & Wellness and Adult Day Health Center.

Board Meetings

The NPRSA is governed by a seven-member Board representing the Cities of Bothell, Kenmore, and Woodinville and King and Snohomish Counties. Meetings are held in-person on the third Wednesday of every other month. A Teams link to the meeting is also available.
